Chain Stitch Crewel Rugs

Handmade crewel rugs, embroidered using traditional crochet/ "aari" work on a cotton "dusooti" base fabric. Embroidery designs include floral motifs and paisleys worked in wool or silk thread. These rugs are backed with canvas and are ideal for use as area rugs or wall hangings.
These rugs come in many different sizes from the smallest (2x3 ft) to the largest (9x12 ft) allowing for a good variety to choose the one suitable for your space.
