Due to the nature of crewel work, there are inherent issues that are unavoidable and do not carry the same guarantee as machine embroidered fabrics.
Handcrafted in Kashmir using age old embroidery techniques, crewel work is indigenous to this region only.
Each piece of fabric is unique, as different groups of workers are employed for each piece.
Every care is taken to maintain a consistent yarn color & embroidery pattern, however it is not practically possible to maintain perfect matches. There may also be missing yarns / slight staining. This is deemed normal.

I ordered this fabric but it was out of stock so they kindly made it up for me. It has just arrived after delays with the lockdown but I couldn’t be happier. The embroidery is perfect and beautiful colours thank you!

Embroidered fabric
Fabric was exactly as described. I purchased similar many years ago from a fabric warehouse, and paid a higher price although I can’t remember exactly how much. Delivery was much faster than I expected. Overall a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to order again or recommend to friends.

Good service
I received the fabric in a matter of a few days so that was good for me. Usually fabric is cut with a small amount of extra so a straight line can be determined, this was not the case so I found that a little disturbing. I was forewarned that imperfections can occur, I had some dye running and 3/4 mysterious little marks in the cotton background, but again,I was warned. I will still order from this company, expensive delivery charge.

I ordered only swatches for now to decide on which pattern was preferable and also to check the quality, etc. I am pleased to say that the patterns are all beautiful and well done
